★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3, and 3/4. The service is very good. The staff is nice. Salad was nice and side dishes and couvert good.
We tried chuleton and T-bone both aged 20 days. I accept the fact 20 days of dry aging is … not aging, OK. However, We asked rare… we received medium. The cuts were merely average in taste, some parts were hard and tasteless, some tendons. Whats more, I received the first cut from the piece with one side dry and hard.
After having a conversation with the owner about our experience, we got invited for drinks. Nice gesture.
From my experience, please go to Spain and try a Chuleton de Rubia Gallega, “poco hecho” madurado (aged) at least 3 months. Then you have a proper point of reference.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have travelled Portugal from north to south and this is the only restaurant we visited 2 nights in a row. Shout out to Antonio, our waiter who has gone above and beyond for us, we will forever remember what you have done for us. There was another lady server (didn’t catch her name) and she was so wonderful! The beef carpaccio is our favourite….order your own cuz you won’t want to share! We also had the tomahawk and the Chateaubriand and both steaks were incredible, best we ever had, your cuts of meat and method of grilling has nothing on what we thought were great steaks in Manhattan. Can’t say enough wonderful things about the service, the staff and the food. So satisfied, can’t wait to return in September to eat another great meal and to see the wonderful people who made our experience in Portugal the best it could have been. Thank you!!

I would have given 5 stars but we only ordered mains & the service was slow nearly an hour wait, however it was worth waiting for! So I will definitely be going back!??
