★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Is a lovely place to go, is not too expensive for Alvor and they still running the restaurant like family business that make the food taste nicer as used to be a long time ago. Different than restaurants that prepare food as a production line.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely disgusting meat. I asked for medium, got overcooked meat as u can see from the pic, and got charged 16 euros . Would give 0 star if possible . Fried fries soggy. Never be back again. If u do not have any particular request is fine but honest2is not worth it. Not sure why got so many reviews.fish good for the price, never order meat

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fillet steak on a stone is so good. Its quite a large piece of beef and the stone is hot enough to cook it to your exact liking. The wine was cheap too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had heard that this was a fab place to eat and the steak on the stone was different. My wife's filet steak was quite good but mine disappointing... Not that tender. Be warned that they put loads of salt on it before it is brought out to you. This spoilt it for me. When I mentioned it to the waiter he said that's how the Portuguese like it. Service was nothing special.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Buganvilia offers a variety of meat and fish dishes. The ones we had were tasty and well received. Prices are economic. 45 euros per couple including wine including tip was all we paid.
