★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wasn't expecting much from such a touristy spot but this little restaurant ended up being a great meal. Try the cow beans (beans still in the pods, battered and fried). The octopus was also very fresh and perfectly grilled. Really, try this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service and food were excellent! I ordered the Grilled Octopus and I loved it. My hubby ordered the cod cheesy pie (can't remember what the name on the menu was) and he loved his dish as well. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Tapas n’Friends is awful! Food is average. Unless you don’t find anywhere to eat, don’t go; we recommend you to find somewhere else to eat. Between each tapa it took about 20mins to arrive! And one of them never even got to be served! Service was indeed awful, and this restaurant is soooo pricy too! The girls toilet wasn’t working and they didn’t even have toilet paper. For tapas better travel to Spain jajajaja

We had a reservation at another restaurant which they blew off. So we had to find an alternate. Must admit, we had low expectations.
But the services was outstanding. The menu wasn't terribly broad, but the food was beautifully presented and was delicious.
We are wrapping up 3 weeks in Portugal & had been disappointed by the restaurant that was too busy to honor our 20:00 reservation, but delighted to find Balcalhau com Todos.
