★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have booked this hotel especially for their inside pool (February is a bit cold for outside pools..).
First impression was very good! Nice room, nice environment, nice receptionist... Not too far from Albufeira by car...
But when we wanted to go to the inside pools, problems began.
We had to give our room number and name to the swimming pool receptionist. But their file was not updated and another client had our room nbr.
After calling reception desk to check, they told us that we didn't had access to the inside pool ! Even if Booking stipulated that it was included. Somehow, Booking booked via another partner (according to them as we didn't had any info about this from Booking), and no access with them!
They told us to call Booking but honestly we didn't wanted to waste some holidays time with Booking on the phone and if they have changed the access, they have to update their informations on Booking.
After that, they told us that they will make an exception... Ok thanks. BUT Tiago (swimming pool receptionist) told us that we need a hat otherwise no entry possible !
Big joke as we went to see the facilities the same morning and NO ONE had a hat!
And of course, they told us that we were liars and without hat, no entry. But we were 2 to see this!
Not very cool as this was our only "relaxing" day... They offered us to go in the outside pools, really?!
Very bad experience.. we have planned to come back in May... It will not be in this complex.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place so clean and quiet great value for money great location not too far from the strip but far enough where you can get peace and quiet. Cleaners come round every day the complex is kept immaculately and is very beautiful with lots of trees and plants. Lots of pools, tennis courts and golfing range, 2 places to eat onsite. The staff are so friendly and helpful always on hand to answer questions, book taxis and they even escort you to your apartment via a golf buggy with your luggage. The apartment was kitted out with lots of items you wouldnt even think about such as pool floats, booster seats, books, cds, tv, fab air conditioners and lots more! The only bad thing is that there is literally no soundproofing at all between apartments the walls are extremely thin so much so i can hear the people in the next apartment walking from room to room and opening drawers! Apart from this fantastic place to stay, praia maria luisa beach is a 5 minute walk away if that, you have the option of going to the strip or olhos de agua(quieter and more for the locals) depending on what you fancy as the location is between both, would definitely stay here again but because of the soundproof issues probably not during a busy period ( peak season) perfect for families and couples alike.
