★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service, delicious grilled cod (bacalhau à lagareiro). Ask for a window seat to enjoy the view of the surf (unless someone is sitting at an outside table).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing views, fresh seafood and fantastic service. Clams as a main course were a bit too small, the french fries absolutely inedible, but the grilled sea bass was delicious and came with a herb butter and very tasty side dish of broccolini&potatoes. And the pulpo was fab! ? We’ll be back for sure - got to try the pasta vongole next time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After having spent 3 days of surfing at Praia Grande, this was the best imaginable place for our last dinner over there. We had a place on the terrace with stunning view on the bay and sunset. It was very cold but the staff managed to give us a table inside last minute where we could enjoy some delicious soups and risotto. Many thanks again for saving us from freezing outside :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a very beautiful place located at the end of this road with amazing views of the ocean. It was nicely decorated, with attentive service and cozy environment. The codfish and oyster are good. One can order one or more oyster, which is very convenient. The filet isn’t that good, but it’s understandable as it’s a seafood restaurant.
What made me feel shocked is the price of salsas of entrada, some bread with three salsas. It’s just normal salsa for bread ( some olive oil, not sure the other two names) but they charged 4.5 euros for salsa and 1.5 euros for bread, which I think it’s a bit ridiculous. And the price of the entrada isn’t list in the menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was really tasty and the staff was more than friendly at any point in time. The location couldn't be any better close to some huge cliffs and with a great view to the sea and the waves. Reservation is recommended, we got the last spot without reserving beforehand

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spectacular ocean view with elegant Portuguese food and welcoming staff. The view itself is enough to visit Bar do Fundo. Great for lunch & dinner or just to have a drink. Octopus, bacalhau, beef tartare and bitoque were fresh and delicious. Each desert we tried was also top notch. Good selection of white and red wine. Oysters could have been slightly better. Make a reservation if possible - our group of 7 managed to get a table outside before having a place inside. Plenty of free parking spaces available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to a Michelin star restaurant and it absolutely sucked compared to Bar do Fundo. Every single dish was the best food I've had in a long time. Compared to the US you instead of a thousand dollar bill maybe you might reach 300 here with 10 appetizers and 6 main courses. Bar do Fundo hands down best experience since being in Portugal.
