★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The castle ground itself is free to roam. The castle wall is also free, you are able to climb up the turrets and is pretty fun. There are no safety rails, so be careful and don't ruin it for everyone else by hurting yourself ?
The tower was €2 and was worth it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited this castle and were able to park almost next to the city walls. The castle entrance was a few minutes walk away, following the line of the walls through parkland.
Entry to the castle is free and you can walk part of the castle walls. It is a small castle and there are no buildings inside but the tower is both visible for miles and allows you to see for miles! It is well restored and you can climbed the 180 odd steps to the roof, passing through three rooms with vaulted ceilings to get there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s amazing. Well preserved. Lovely view from the top. The stairs are narrow and one has to be careful to walk. Would highly recommend the visit
