Boca De Inferno in Cascais City , Portugal. Take bus M7 from Sintra, makes this bus unlimited travel for the day. Boca De Inferno means Hell's Mouth , feels an independent experience. The seawater has access to the deep bottom of the chasm and vigorously strikes its rocky walls, making it a popular tourist attraction. Standing at the edge of Cliffs are Dangerous.

Definitely worth the walk out. Be sure to take the paths you see that lead out to the lava rock next to the walkway on the way there from the city. Lots of beautiful sites to see!

Amazing place to visit and see how the ocean can be so rough. The water as craved a hole in the rocks and thus the name of devils mouth (boca do inferno). Amazing spot for taking nice pictures!

Breathtaking. Easy to reach from Cascais train station. We Uber (>5Euro) to Boca do Inferno (5 min ride). We got there around 5pm. There are some cafes right outside of the trail. Well paved but still need good shoes. I could sit there all day watching the waves. The walk back to Cascais downtown was relaxing and enjoyable.

Stopped enroute to Cascais Town. Brilliant place to stop and view coastal erosion. Steps going down quite steep and slippy so be mindful. Good views out to sea ?

Wonderful natural landscape! Magnificent wild beauty! It is worth visiting and admiring the wonder of nature. Very expensive area with a few shops nearby. It had toilets near the road but you paid.

Guarded by countless laughing seagulls, the „Mouth Of Hell“ is one of the most beautiful landmarks near Lisbon. Completely designed by nature with its infallible hand, the area is presenting itself with a rough charm which is created when the sea and the wind as bride and groom come together to meet their best man, the rocks of a coast line. Over millions of years the natural forces created the shapes one can see today. The waves keeping on coming restless and powerful, pressing through the mouth into the basin you’re looking into when standing on the edge of the cliff. When you get lucky, the weather will be just fine. With a deeply blue sky of a color you will find nowhere else around the world. And bright sunshine, which lets the foaming water look like dusted with countless little gems. Look and take in this endlessness of the ocean. Breathe deeply and get a sense of what it is like to inhale the sunlight. Then close your eyes. And just listen: what the flooding and ebbing waves got to tell you. Whatever it may be, the seagulls will keep on laughing. At all of it.
