It is easy to recommend our guests to places that are sure bets but at premium prices. Borges Restaurant is a local place that for fish and seafood lovers is a must. Throughout the year they offer local fresh catch at sensible prices and expertly prepared and served. Oysters, Crab, Sea Bream, Octopus, Squid, Sea Bass the choice of Fresh Local Catch is available. A full selection of Portuguese wines to suit. The decor is pleasant but basic so ideal for people foodies but not for those who simply want to go to be seen ... Expect to pay 35 per head for 2 courses plus wine. Open for lunch and evenings - enjoy. Enquinta and Unique Luxury Holidays - offering the very best to our all guests.

We had a shared platter for 2 as starters which was fantastic and seafood pasta as well as the Dourada as mains... Very nice food We have made a new reservation for the next day right away :-) Looking forward to enjoying cataplana tomorrow

M	Matthew Pearn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easily my favourite restaurant in the area. I ate here on a Thursday and made a second reservation for Saturday that same night. I’ll likely go again tomorrow on Sunday as I leave Tuesday and they’re closed Mondays. The squid is perfection, the sardines grilled amazingly. The chocolate mousse a perfect finish to the meal with a glass of port. I can not recommend this place enough and I have been disappointed a few times on my trip. I am not easy to please all the time but Borges exceeded my expectations. The service is lovely and the staff are patient and kind. Make the trip to this small town to eat here. Eat the squid. You will give up on every other restaurant in the area and want to spend every night here.
