THE BEST SPOT IN LISBON.
Located at the water’s edge, at Cafe do Forte you can experience total relaxation: enjoy the sailboats passing by while eating some of our traditional pastry on the shaded outside terrace just beside the Belém Tower, second most visited monument in Portugal, and the old Fortress.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Expensive, unfriendly, slow and a lot of wrong things on the card. It took them 25 minutes for the two breads that are for sure not paninis and charged 6,50 for that, this is a rip-off even in germany. The one star is for the view, really nice, otherwise absolutely no recommendation

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pretty standard tourist cafe, where all of the foods are processed and premade and just heated at location. However the location and the view from the terrasse at the water front right next to the Belem Tower is very hard to beat

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tourists can have nice views over the river and Belem tower. It is nice sitting outside and enjoying views on sunny days. Food is so so and a bit more expensive than any other cafes in Portugal. A cappuccino costs 2 euros and they serve the basic foods like spaghetti bolognese and cheese burger. Credit card can't be used here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tourist trap. Almost 6 euros for the worst avocado toast of my life. Waiter didn’t even say thank you when we left a good tip even though the food was bad.

We waited one hour for a toast.... that came with ants!!!!! They didn't even give us a discount for that. It's a shame. Moreover, overpriced, bad quality, better to avoid!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pleasant place to have a brunch. Nice view, close (nearly sitting on the water) to the river tagus,the terrace is fabulous. Good service, a bit slow, but gives you time to enjoy the view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely setting with great views. Limited menu but what we ordered was good. Prices are slightly expensive for what you get but the location is beautiful. I read a few service complaints. I had fantastic and very friendly service. The waitress even asked if she could bring waiter for our little dog. So no complaints service wise.
