Good food, good service, great atmosphere. The quality coffee was the highlight, I'll be visiting again to try more of the many coffee options.

Lovely cool cafe with different single origin coffees to choose from; make sure you talk to the baristas and do not get the batch brew, which apparently is a bulk mix of God knows what. The breakfast &brunch menu has your usual toasts, egg dishes and pancakes, after which Progresso offers wood fire pizzas, trendy bowl food and appetizers. The pizza is wonderful, too! You can order different wines or try the coffee soda, if you're so inclined.

Yet another very nice and affordable place for a breakfast. Staff is English-speaking. They have one big room inside as well as a little space outside the cafe. Both omelette and the scrambled eggs were tasty and fulfilling.

(Review for coffee only) : finally a perfect flat white in Portugal!! I've travelled a lot of wonderful Portugal and there ain't much of a third wave coffee scene, I just don't understand why more fresh milk isn't served!! Cafe Progresso has a great interior, hipster vibe and an extensive espresso and brewed coffee menu. Whether you're after a light filter coffee or a punchy double espresso, they'll sort you out. Enjoyed being able to select what bean to use and perfect milk texturing.

This is a very nice cafe in the modern style serving Specialty coffee and a nice selection of food from their own kitchen on site. My single origin Ethiopia Yirgacheffe was good although not the most distinctive and powerful I have had, but my wife's cappuccino was disappointing even after the second attempt. This is because the Specialty coffee world has blurred the lines between the different milky coffees and only makes lattes nowadays. No-one actually knows how to make a decent cappuccino foam anymore. But it's still a good place and I would recommend a visit.

We went here for lunch our second day in Porto. Amazing food: fresh and healthy. I had the Progresso Bowl, really nice! We had a table outside. Would definitely recommend this place!

My family and I ended up stopping here after trying to find a place to eat. Originally, we were just getting a coffee, but I'm glad we stayed! They have a large selection of food and various brunch combos for you to try. I got the fruit pancakes, which also comes with a fruit parfait, a fresh fruit juice of the day, and a cappuccino. So much food. So delicious. My family got the omelette combo, which also comes with a fresh fruit juice, side salad, toast with jam, and a cappuccino. We were all satisfied and happy! I also tried a cup of their single origin coffee. Both the coffee and the cappuccino was smooth and delicious.

The oldest Cafe in Porto. The building invite you to enter this cozy place with good music and an amazing home made coffee. The vintage decoration just make everything even better. The crepes, the toasts...all very tasty, although I didn't like the pancakes that much (flour taste). The staff could be more welcoming. Overall it was a great experience with a wonderful coffee. Recommended.
