★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just amazing! We recommend the steak on the stone! I always ask for my stone to be extra hot as I don't eat pink meat and it's always delivered perfectly. Rosa and Riccardo are gorgeous - you'll never get service like it in your life! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourite Lagos restaurants, definitely the true Portuguese experience.
Confusing menu (a proper summery of Portugal), proper tradicional serving, really nice friendly staff that can easily lead you into a good fresh local fish and other products.
It may seem that it isn't your comon tourist restaurant, because it definitely isn't, it it's a proper local's place so you have to know more or less what you want before you order.
The racio of quality and price is definitely the best one around the city.
About 15 mins walking from D. Ana beach and even closer to other beaches, you won't find prices like this with this fresh products anywhere in Portugal close to the beach.
Also it's a local restaurant, owned by people that also work there, it's a place you should support when coming here, to support the locals that stay open all year.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was first meal in Lagos, arrive around 4 pm which most of restaurant is closed.
As soon as the food arrived, lots of flies attacked us.. I mean attacking.
We can't eat and just paid and leave the restaurant
The staff only said sorry and do nothing. Didn't offer us any help and even move the table.
Maybe we ate at the wrong time..

The sea bass was good but the sole fish did not taste good (I do not know if because it has that taste or because they over grilled the fish). The customer service was poor and I had to get up from our table many times to ask them what we needed during our lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden gem food-wise. We were looking for some delicious & fresh seafood and this place was spot on. Had a dorada / sea bream grilled with potatoes which was delicious & perfectly cooked, and a clam catalpana which was rich & tasty. Restaurant appearances are simple & authentic, service was pretty slow. Prices were crazy cheap (£1.10 for a beer) which more than made up for it. Overall a must visit for delicious cheap eats!
