Central, simple and cheap. Most parts of Lagos are in walking reach. Most spots offer some kind of shade and considering the site being located in the centre of the city, it is quite idyllic. Certainly no squares in caravan yachts around, which is refreshing. The low ratings are not deserving, unless you expect luxury, which the site never states to offer.

The staff doesn't care about anything and won't explain you anything at the check in. The area is okay but no soap, toilet paper in the bathrooms and the toilet got no lid. Very basic camping spot but it's the only one in Lagos. Wifi costs 8€ a day but is written on a wall that its free. 2 Persons and a Campervan for 16,50 with electricity is to expensive in my opinion and if there would be another choice in Lagos the people would probably go there.

Good camping for the price they have , very close to the city center, in front of the camping there is a nice restaurant. If I have to say something negative , I would say that the shower are a little bit shabby , that's all

The location, very close to the city center and super nice beaches cast a shadow over a not so super clean but ok camping site. The camping area is absolutely ok for the price (10€ for a camper van w. 1 person). But be, aware the toilets are sniffy. For 1-2 nights absolutely nice and recommend from me.

It's near the stores and restaurants, but the toilets and showers are awful. You come out dirtier then you go in. Very sad! It stinks very bad in the whole place.

I've been to bad camping sites, but that was just the worst. -Disgusting shower's/WC's etc. -WiFi not working (and if it would, you have to pay extra) -no place to charge phone (i stayed there in my tent) other then the reception, where you have to pay money to charge your phone!!! This was a first time for me after years of travel Don't waste your money, you get more if you're camping in the wild.

We were a little intimidated by the bad reviews but decided to give it a try due to the great location (5-10min to the cliffs). I don't get all these really bad reviews. It was totally okay. The checkin and check out (we had to leave before the gate was usually open) was no problem at all. The washing rooms were old but all in all clean. There was hot water too. The place for the laundry washing looked a bit unclean but we didn't need it. The people seemed nice from afar - we had no negative interactions with anyone. Its very hard to get your tent hooks in but there were stones everywhere and with them it was really easy. The place may look a bit shabby because of the walls, everything is made out of stone and the sand is covered with lot of leaves, stones,... We stayed for 2 nights and it was absolutely no problem. Maybe some people should spend their nights in a hotel with their high expectations. Of course its not a luxus resort. ? We paid for 1 car, 1 tent and 2 people/night 20 euros. Thats kinda a lot for this place.

We had read all references before going there. It was not possible to find a contact online, so we just went there by car at the end of September and had plenty of space on the tent space of the Camping. We paid 20EUR per night (2 adults, 1 small tent, 1 car). Yes, the bathrooms only have the basics. You need to bring your own toilet paper and soap, as in several places in Portugal and Spain, it's not allowed to flush the used toilet paper in the toilet because it blocks the tubes but you have to leave it in a bucket with a plastic bag which is cleaned and renewed, as well as the entire bathroom, twice a day. The Camping site is very central; the town centre is only 5-10min walking distance ♥️ It has a washing machine, spots where to wash by hand, running water, the showers work well, the buildings got a new paint during the pandemic, as we were told by long-term campers. There were only 3 or 4 tents with Hippies/Punks and 1 freely running dog. We were told by the long-term campers that this was indeed much worse before but it is not anymore. We liked the Camping site a lot and would always come back.
