V	Victor Neto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wrote this comment having in mind our friends living or working outside Portugal that might need to transfer money for all sorts of reasons. On 28.06.2021 I ordered a transfer of €1000 from my account at CGD Portugal to my account at Bank CIMB Malaysia. CGD charged me €36.18 at the source, but I only received €931.82, leaving €32.64 missing, without explanation. CGD clarification suggested that CIMB should have imposed new charges, which they denied with proof. A CIMB letter (extract annexed) indicates that CGD had appointed Deutsche Bank AG, Frankfurt for the remittance. CGD had not shared the €36.18 commission with Deutsche Bank and, hence, Deutsche Bank retained €32.64 without notice, and without authorisation, and to my loss. So far, I have not been compensated. In the meantime, my complaint to Banco de Portugal has not been entertained… Be aware of irregularities when ordering international transfers through CGD. In addition, bear in mind that recently CGD increased the commission to have an account active, which in my case is about 5 euros per month. I only have my pension sitting there.
A	Alex Ferr on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Standing in line for 2 hours for a 1 minute deposit is just unacceptable. Only one cashier, only 5 people waiting and... 2 hours in line. One can tell they couldn't care less by the numbness and demeanor.
