★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible, unfriendly and rude, my 3 friends and I,
all in our 50's and 60's were on a three week motorcycle tour of Spain and Portugal and camped at a different campsite every night. We were welcomed everywhere we went except for this campsite, having paid they showed us to a spot amongst static caravans it looked a like a parking space for a car actually, no grass and hard! The 'owner' was very rude and either didn't like the English or motorcyclists or both!!!!! We got our money back after a heated conversation and went on to the Parque de Campismo Municipal da Madelena where we welcomed and spent lots of Euro's on food and drink as we did every other campsite except this one!!!
Given one star as no option for none.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Check in took an hour where it should only have taken 10 minutes. They do not make reservations and don't know how many tent places are available. So there is a chance of coming here and there is no vacancy for tent

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful camping, a bit overcrowded but the location makes up for it. There were some people that were partying in the tents and even when asked at 2am to turn the music off they continued. The camping staff didn’t do anything about it. Would’ve had 5 stars if If I had some sleep, unfortunately that wasn’t the case.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here 2 nights early sept. Never booked just turned up, staff spoke basic english and were friendly and helpful. Touring pitches at bottom of site next to river with good views, small and shaded by trees, reasonably level quiet at night. Facilities bit dated but ok no loo seats or paper but clean and plenty of hot water. Data signal poss but not quick enough to surf net. Pool was large not heated in sept but temp was okay. Site has entertainment, shop etc but we never used it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed off season one night - 2 tents, 3 people, one car. We were charged 23€ - for vehicle, each tent and each person. A bit expensive. But staff was very nice, view over river beautiful, but probably during high season must be very crowded and noisy. Bathrooms clean and with hot water.
