★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to this restaurant based on the good reviews and the recommendation of our hotel. Tonight the quality of the food and service was disappointing. The shrimp cocktail was a lot of lettuce and sauce but only a few shrimps. The salmon was too dry. The waiter had a lot of fun with our neighbors but was not friendly for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just meh. We arrived for dinner on a Tuesday evening to find almost every table was reserved. However, we were able to get one of the last two tops available. Based on that fact, and the previous Google reviews we thought, "This bodes well for our upcoming experience.". To be honest, the only highlight worth noting was the friendliness and enthusiasm of the drink order taker/bus boy. The servers were efficient if indifferent. The food wasn't poor enough to complain about, but it ranks as about the worst we've had in three trips to the Algarve over the years spanning ten weeks in total. My spouse had the rabbit and mushroom casserole and I the sauteed octopus. Neither was bad enough to send back, but the flavours and seasonings were definitely off the mark. I can't say you shouldn't give it a try. We may have selected the wrong dishes to get what people have raved about in other reviews.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had dinner with my boyfriend there and thee service was very nice. We had Tuna, kebab with shrimp and monk fish, octopus salad and 2 beers. They have menu in many languages, fish was fresh and served very quickly. The area is quite touristy though. As a negative point I could say that the tables outside were too small. Prices were ok, similar to all other restaurants around. We could pay by card and we got a "digestive" shot at the end :) Recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had dressed crab TWICE at this place because it was such high quality, huge and full of roe. The ladies who served us were very nice. I also had prawn and monkfish kebab which was huge and very satisfying. Honest and good value, despite being part of the tourist street. I'd come here again and again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a fantastic dinner. The fresh grilled fish and tiger prawns were phenomenal (as good or better than the best we had in Lisbon). The atmosphere outside was very casual and friendly, and the servers were very nice and attentive. Wonderful and must go!
