★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a well run shelter for dogs and cats. We picked up our 3rd rescue dog yesterday. This is the 4 th rescue we have had and they have all been fantastic. Unfortunately we lost our big castro labreiro to cancer nearly 2 years ago. Highly recommend this shelter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This shelter is doing an amazing job, keeping the dogs as free as possible. No single cages, but big kennels with multiple dogs and loads of dogs walking free. Never saw such a well organized and humane shelter. It would be helpful to bring someone who speaks Portugese. We came back with this amazing guy, thank you so much!
