★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms and breakfast area were amazing. We had asked for an early check in for 2pm. And even though the official check in time is 3; our room was not ready until after 3:30. The hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Offered suggestions on hiking around town. Overall good experience. Would recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Sintra.

Very helpful in various occasions and quick to react to whatever it was we needed. 2 Steps Away from 2 great restaurants and the city market which works outdoors in Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Sintra Is 30mn drive from Lisbon and a must visit if in Lisbon,

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good for the price, but found it a little strange that there was nothing to drink my tea or coffee out of, even though it included a kettle and advertised the room as including tea / coffee making facilities. I found some cutlery / crockery in the downstairs part of the building and noticed numbered safety deposit boxes, but there was no information about them and as there is no one around I couldn't find out about using them. I found out about there being a sitting area / dining area by reading other reviews! You get an email with gate / door and room codes to access the room. It's all rather impersonal. The bed is very comforable and huge!
