★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Adorei a noite que passei. Banheiro grande, camas confortáveis, café e chá no quarto, ótima calefaçao e uma vista superior muito agradável.
Atendimento ótimo e simpático.
 I loved the night I spent. Large bathroom, comfortable beds, in-room coffee and tea, great heating and a very nice top view.
Great and friendly service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Genial, calidad precio, muy bien situado. La habitación limpia y la cama muy cómoda. El señor de la recepción súper majo creo que se llama Embilio o algo así... Habla bastantes idiomas y te ayuda con cualquier pregunta que tengas sobre el lugar... Lo recomiendo 100%. Esta en frente de la estación y de donde se cogen los bus para ir a visitar todos los sitios interesantes de Sintra.
Great, value for money, very well located. Clean room and very comfortable bed. The man at the reception is super nice, I think his name is Embilio or something like that ... He speaks a lot of languages and helps you with any questions you have about the place ... I recommend him 100%. It is in front of the station and from where you can take the bus to visit all the interesting places in Sintra.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Als je een kamer voor 50e per nacht boekt, dan weet je dat je geen fantastische kamer hebt. De kamer was desondanks op het eerste gezicht best oké. Het bed was goed en de locaties is heel fijn direct tegenover het station van Sintra. Daarnaast is de gastvrouw echt een schat, superaardig en behulpzaam.
Maar ja, als je dan eenmaal gesettled bent, merk je toch dat het allemaal niet zo heel fris is. Het is nu eenmaal een monumentaal pand en ondanks dat het personeel zeer haar best doet om het schoon te maken, blijft het gewoon oud en vies. De douche is niet schoon, de wc stinkt en de kraan blijft lopen. Het is ook nog eens enorm gehorig, dus je hoort alles wat er op de kamers naast je gebeurt. Voor een nachtje, hooguit 2, is het te doen. Maar denk niet dat je blij weggaat als je langer verblijft.
If you book a room for 50e a night, you know you're not going to have a fantastic room. The room was nevertheless quite ok at first glance. The bed was good and the location is very nice directly opposite the Sintra station. In addition, the hostess is really a treasure, super nice and helpful.
But then again, once you've settled in, you notice that it's not all that fresh. It is simply a monumental building and despite the staff doing their very best to clean it, it just remains old and dirty. The shower is not clean, the toilet stinks and the tap keeps running. It is also very noisy, so you hear everything that happens in the rooms next to you. It is doable for one night, at most 2. But don't think you'll leave happy if you stay longer.
