The small house is in a dream location. Sea view from the window. Great breakfast included and the hosts are very nice. A real secret tip!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir waren 5 Nächte als Freunde und Nicht-Surfer in dieser bezaubernden Unterkunft in Baleal. Ein ganz besonderes Haus, das liebevoll geführt wird. Wir bewohnten Zimmer 3 und hatten einen fantastischen Ausblick auf den offenen Atlantik. Das Frühstück war ein Traum, ebenso die umliegenden Strände. Mit dem Mietwagen konnten wir direkt vor dem Haus parken. Natürlich ist es keine Luxus Unterkunft aber sie bietet alles was man braucht und man fühlt sich einfach wohl dort.
We stayed 5 nights as friends and non-surfers in this lovely place to stay in Baleal. A very special house that is lovingly run. We stayed in room 3 and had a fantastic view of the open Atlantic. The breakfast was a dream, as were the surrounding beaches. With the rental car we could park right in front of the house. Of course it is not a luxury accommodation but it offers everything you need and you just feel comfortable there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vítor was such a sweet and wonderful host for our stay in mid April 2022. The house has lots of charm and the breakfast he prepares is wonderful and plentiful. Our room was right by the ocean with a stunning view. The house sits right by the cliff with a little chapel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best location in this area. Don't stay in Peniche, Baleal is much better. The view is awesome, breakfast is amazing and the owners are cute and always try to help. Bathroom could need a refreshment though but that doesn't bother much. Obrigado muito!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in Casa das Marés 3 for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. The room was small, but cosy and clean and the view at the surfers' beach was just amazing. The hosts were really friendly and cared for the guests really well during breakfast.
The small peninsula right next to the Casa gives a fantastic view during sunset and it's only a short walk to the beach. I can only recommend this place :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ well i travel a lot and here is one of those places when you feel like home ❤️ Vitor Anna and Miguel in a comfortable way make you feel as a family member ..) always good vibe and energy , comfort care and trust .
the rooms simply beautiful cozy with all you need and stunning view :) every breakfast home made with love : great coffe , plates of fresh fruits and berries with local eggs any style . car parking spots right here , friendly neighbors on one side and absolute safety all the time .
hiking , biking , surfing , chilling , working - whatever you do just come here and enjoy. i came here for few days and now don’t want to leave and always , always will be back while in Portugal !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So…. I stayed here for a lot longer than I planned. The location is idealic. The owners are exceptionally pleasant and it feels more like you’ve been invited into a home than checked into a hotel. Which for what it’s worth - it is! Always accommodating and with an overabundance of fruit for breakfast - it’s just a very special place.
Surfing is a big thing here - board rentals nearby - restaurants and even a grocery within walking distance.
Ok onto the practical, it has 4 rooms so I am not sure how often one is available - the rooms are each different in size and the pictures I shared are from room 1 - oh BTW I don’t know if any one room has the best view. All of them face the ocean (it’s on a peninsula).
But Just to manage expectations. The rooms are small but comfortable. - I don’t think you stay here because you want to be inside all day! But because of the views I did happily spend time in my room enjoying the luxury of a great view from bed and/or resting/reading/sleeping to the sounds of the surf.
What else… yeah this place and Vitor, Ana, and Miguel are delightful. I feel lucky to have stayed here…
* note : showers are small - BUT The Water Pressure is Superb! And Hot! -
Never underestimate the power of a good hot shower.
