★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Top B&B, very friendly and efficient staff, beautiful house and location, excellent by all means. Simply a great place to stay while exploring the Douro Valley and its fabulous Quintas.
We used the train from Rede Station to go anywhere in the valley we wanted. To get to the station from Casa de Canilhas use Vitor's Taxi service (attached you find his biz card). Great service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect view! Perfect environment and perfect room! The boss who is a doctor is super kind and attentive and lives in the first floor! This place is so beautiful, i fell in love with it everyday. If you want to enjoy this place properly, you really need at least 2 nights. This place and Duoro Valley is one of the most beautiful places on Earth! Love the flowers and terraced vineyards and river valley view! 100% amazing! Totally recommended!

We arrived especially to be at the pool of this hotel looking at the river. They asked us to leave the pool “so they can cut the grass”. We checked out at mid day and it was 30 degrees outside. Because of the pandemic non of the other hotels around accepted us to their pool as non guests.
This really ruined our plan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Other than the views and the breakfast, the rest were inconvenient. They were too careful about covid that you don’t get to go anywhere or use the house other than your room, common areas (living room, kitchen) are closed, and you need to wear your mask all the time.
If you need anything it’s hard to call for service as they don’t respond over email or text message (the way they ask to contact them), and you need to look for them in the house.
You’re not allowed to park and use their parking spaces.
Other than that the view is unbeatable, breakfast choicest were superb.
