The food was NOT good, two of us got sick after eating there.
There was no live music and the service really poor.
Don’t go there!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic place to experience Portugal at its best!!! Delicious food (simple menu, but very tasteful), excellent fado singers (the best I experienced so far at Alfama), and all very down to earth, very Portuguese, authentic! I truly recommend this place. Great unforgettable experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An authentic fado experience! The hostess (a fado singer herself) is the charm of the place. In a cozy room, in between songs you are helped to some honest food, and the 5 singers and their music is just spectacular.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Truly the best night of my 3 weeks in Portugal. This is not a restaurant, this is a HOME. The love of the food, the music, and the culture is almost overwhelming. This is not a place to get a quick bite. This is not a place to ask for a plate substitution. This is not the place to demand an English menu. This is a restaurant where a family welcomes you in, they cook for you, sing for you. The Fado was so beautiful it brought me to tears. The grilled bass so fresh you can tell it was caught that day. If you want an authentic, Portuguese friends and family exprience this is the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went here for some viño verde, cheese, olives and fado - and it was the best experience! Fado singers; The owner, two men and one young girl; all of them fantastic! The owner was so funny too! The whole place had this cozy atmosphere. Obrigada✨

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The singers were amazing and so enjoyable! We were ushered in by what u expect is the owner but I'm so glad we were. I had a salmon and it was cooked perfectly. The kitchen informed us our original order was not fresh and we had the option to change it if we wanted too. Everyone was so kind and the atmosphere was ever so homely. Great creme brule too ?
