★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friends stayed here. I think they're trying to be boutique and cool, but just come off as poor quality. They were offered a complimentary drink at the bar so my friends ordered a whiskey and soda water. After ordering it, she was told it wasn't included as a free drink - only a Porto tonico cocktail is free. She was then charged €10 for the whiskey! Meanwhile, the staff were using the bar area to unpack what appeared to be new uniforms - hardly creates a great ambience. The bar felt like a laundry room!
The room was very small but clean.
They also charge a whopping €20 to keep your luggage for you after you check out! That should be free.
Overall?...Go elsewhere!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is very centric, near to the Street of Allies. The reception service is very warming and helpful. They even prepared an early breakfast for us, to take away. They are sweet and efficient.
The room was fantastic, wide and comfortable bed, big bathroom, a minimalist decoration and furniture, and a terrace with view to the street.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I received the below email in regards to my reservation in spring of 2020. After reaching out to claim my refund, as promised per the email, I received no response, therefore no refund after almost two years. Unethical and terrible customer service.
Dear Mrs. Eijkelboom,
Hope this message finds you well and safe!
Regarding your message and the reservation that you had with us I would like to inform that according an exceptional determination of the Portuguese Government (Decreto-Lei nº17/2020), those guests who have/had non-refundable reservations can receive a voucher valid for another reservation with check-in date until December 31, 2021.
However, if the guest does not use this voucher or rebook the reservation, will have the right to be refunded after December 31, 2021.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located on a really good spot, walking distance from all touristic attractions.
Helpfull and friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and modern, lifts are tiny. The rooms with balcony are situated on the 4th and 5th floor. The view is okayish, definitely no noise disturbance.
Breakfast is good value, but simple.
The only feedback: please serve real coffee. More than happy to pay a little bit more for that convenience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This small hotel delivers what it promises. It is very centrally located, about 500m from Sao Bento train station. It is modern, efficient in decor and service - value for money accommodation, where most rooms have a terrace.
