★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good local meat and fish dishes. Used by locals which is reassuring. Vino Tinto (red wine) best wine in Portugal from the Alentejo region... Deep and rich due to the dry soil and climate. Manager very helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little roadside casual café/restaurant with indoor/outdoor seating. Simple food fare, tasty but not cheap. A very small house salad will set you back 5 euros.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went there with portuguese people who knew the place very well. I don't know if the cook or the owner have changed or what, but we were all very disappointed. The service was disorganized and almost rude. I never had it before so wouldn't know co compare, but the curry sausage was not as good as it used to be, according to my german friend, and the fried cuttlefish was like rubber according to my portuguese friend. The sausages took forever to arrive, and when they did there was only one, with mustard instead of curry sauce. We had to wait another 20min for them to cook 2 sausages and put it in a piece of bread. What shocked me the most was when we got the bill. They wanted me to pay 5€, for a tiny plate of french fries, that was supposed to be included with the fried cuttlefish. I had to go ask to correct at the counter, and the woman reluctantly had to admit her mistake. But even though, 5€ for two potatoes fried in oil, I was amazed... I think our experience doesn't reflect the quality of the place in general, but they definitely messed up for us today.
