About Yogaion
Is part of the amazing Yoga, Surf & Nourish retreat. It will be a wonderful experience amidst the most stunning settings of the Algarvian southwest coast of Portugal. Come and experience a great, nourishing mixture of superb yoga, superb surf by highly qualified teachers, a cooking workshop & the best healthy, nutritious, yummy food. The retreat is set up in such a way that everyone get’s what they are looking for choosing from the following 3 packages:
Yoga, Surf & Nourish
There will be twice daily yoga classes, aligning the body, mind & being. We start the morning with a more invigorating class, working through alignment principles connecting the intelligence of the brain with the space of the heart. In the evening after a splendid day of surf, there will be a restorative session, calming the senses & relaxing the body. The surf will give you a chance to connect with the Ocean & see some of the most beautiful beaches around. For the guests that will join the Yoga, Surf & Nourish package there will be also be an wonderful cooking workshop. Connecting this all together is the wonderful food we will share. Based on a healthy, nourishing diet. Mostly organic & seasonal and definitely absolutely delicious. Cooking a smorgasbord of different dishes so that everyone can have a choice of what they enjoy and even people with dietary allergies & intolerances will be in for a treat. During the retreats the groups will be kept small no more than 10-12 surfing yogis, so that everyone get’s the personal attention they need and the ambience can become one of friends.

My friend and I had an awesome time learning to surf and the yoga was restorative and had a great focus on alignment which I love as this is such an important foundation to yoga. I would and have recommended Yogaion to friends and will continue to do so. The accomodation was clean and comfortable on a beautiful property with a big fire and gorgeous coastal walks to fill your lungs with fresh sea air

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect relaxation! A wonderful yoga retreat (even as a beginner), with a superb teacher, Shaini, and vegan food which has never tasted so good. I went with my sister, met lots of interesting people, and felt completely chilled and yet well nourished and stretched out at the end of the 6 days. I cannot recommend highly enough. September is a good month weather wise with warm dry days and cool evenings. We also enjoyed massages (as good as I have ever had), cooking class and mindfulness., as well as walking in the hills and on the beach. What a treat - one of my best holidays ever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Myself & two friends spent an amazing week immersed in the Yoga Nourish retreat. Shainis yoga retreats are for all levels from novice to very experienced. The Nourish part was all about eating lovingly prepared fresh & delicious vegetarian food & also nourishing the mind & soul with mindfulness sessions. This is definitely much more than 'a yoga retreat' ! We came away having made new friends, feeling very cared for , refreshed & revived, ready to go back to our busy lives.

The yoga teacher (Shaini) is amazing and has profound knowledge, making sure she takes care of everything and everybody. The locations are always awesome and the food is a dream. Definitely an experience that is fully restorative and that I can fully recommend, from beginning till the end!

I had a good feeling about Yogaion but I could not have anticipated how great the whole experience would have been. The yoga was brilliant, the food was stunning and the villa was beautiful. I tried the surfing and nourish option which i absolutely loved. I also joined a mindfulness class which was a real highlight. The trip was fantastic and I know I will go back to this place in the future. It was a very special place!

Everybody was so kind and made me feel so warm. The team worked so well together to provide a wonderful service and made the journey so worthwhile.
