Herdade Quinta Natura

I didn’t want to write this review, because I’m afraid other people will find out about this gem. That will happen anyways.. Had the best time here. Great house, lovely corner room, amazing views everywhere, quiet, close to the beaches and great service. Love it??

This is a really unique property to spend vacation on. It's located a few kilometers from the town of Aljezur in the countryside. The owners sent us information ahead of our trip to help us find the place (there's a lighted sign that can be seen from the street). The road leading to the house is a bit adventurous at first to drive on. It's worth the trip! The house itself is situated on a small hill which makes for a great view from the garden and breakfast room. The guest rooms are independent little appartments that are nicely furnitured and spacious. The greenery around the house is well cared for. There are sometimes dogs roaming around. But they are nice animals. The breakfast was rich and the owners took good care of us during breakfast time. Coffee is good but could maybe improved by not using the capsule system (which is quite wasteful for the environment) but a real coffee machine. The bathroom in our room could have used some improvements. The shower is an open layout which makes it easy to spill water all over the room. The door has a glass window with a thin cover over it that still allows to look into the bathroom from the bedroom. Also there have been smells sometimes from the drainage (?) and on top of that a real chemical beast of toilet soap that caused an intense smell that spread across the whole appartment when the bathroom door wasn't closed. I think some more natural and ecological alternative would be way better than that. A good restaurant is located just a kilometre from the property on the street to Aljezur. More nice restaurants can be found inside Aljezur itself. So there are no long distances to make for getting good food or a cup of ice cream :-) The great western algarve beaches can be easily visited from here but also Lagos is within reasonable distance to pay it a visit. And not to forget Monchenique and the mountain side which is also not far away.

Simply amazing. Serenity and artistically done with welcoming vibe. Owners on site. The entire place is an act of love — structure flow plants. TIP: They have chilled wine and soft drinks at the honor bar that you can purchase on your room. You can use the full stocked kitchen equipment for making dinner — spices too. Check in is 5pm - 10pm because the owners will greet you. Excellent central location to everything in the area.

Incredible and serene. Recommend for anyone looking to relax. Owners are on site (with 3 dogs!). Terrific hospitality with great breakfast spreads. Beds are comfortable and showers are great. Location, service and comfort is all A-class. Very close to the city (less than 3 minute drive to restaurants). Aljezur is a great spot and one of the best hidden secrets in Portugal.

Such a great stay. Hosts were brilliant with amazing local tips. So kind! Great pool area with lovely loungers. Spacious room and big bathroom and a sweet little terrace with a wonderful breakfast. Nothing to complain about at all!

What an amazing welcome we received on arrival. It was the best little hotel I have stayed in for many a year. Lovely little touches throughout, comfy bed, spacious room, fab bathroom. Excellent breakfast, coffee and tea with cookies on offer. Lovely gardens, lovely pool. A wonderful place!!!

It's a unique place with attention to detail. The room was clean and comfortable with a great view. We’ve got a free upgrade :) The shared space was open with everything you need - free coffee express, free cookies, a huge collection of teas, a refrigerator with regular and plant milk, juices, wines, and beers. The breakfast was also great - a fresh (still warm) croissant was delicious! We were in 7 hotels in Portugal and this was the best - highly recommend! :)

We stayed here for 5 nights as a family. The room was modern, clean had everything we needed. The breakfast was the best breakfast we had in our whole 2 month trip - and this stay was really was a very big highlight of our trip. Marta and family were so amazing with kindness and willing to help in anyway. It is close to beaches and town, and the perfect place to relax. We absolutely loved it here - and hope to stay in touch with Marta and come back next time we make it to Portugal. Thank you!!!
