★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I stayed here for one night along the Camino. We booked ahead of time online via email which was very easy.
Helena was very welcoming and check-in was easy and painless. Our room was cozy and clean with a spacious bathroom.
There is a separate shared kitchen/lounge area for guests to use with a fridge with reasonably priced cold drinks / hot drinks for purchase.
Unfortunately there isn't anywhere nearby to eat but Helena has that covered. She has menus of some nearby restaurants where you can pick out the food you want and she will order/pick up/bring back your food. It is a pleasant shared dinner with other guests who are staying at the Casa. The prices were also quite reasonable at about 3 euro for soup, 7 euro for main dish (so about 10 euro per person with no drink). She plates the meals out very nicely so they don't look like they came in a to-go bag. Dinner was very good with large portions.
The beds were comfortable and we slept well.
Breakfast the following morning was excellent! Lots of bread, fruit, yogurt, meats and cheeses which were topped up regularly if they were getting low.
Through out our entire stay Helena was very welcoming, helpful and friendly.
I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend to other people to stay here as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful, out of the way place to stay. The host Helena is gracious and speaks at least three languages. Everything I saw there was a wonderful mix of ancient and modern at the same time. The 150 plus year old compound has been renovated and updated in the best ways possible as far as I could see. I had a very very nice stay there.
