★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Happened upon this place by chance and was pleasantly surprised. There was a person playing the orchestra (yes, an orchestra) that caught our attention. And then the books captured us when we walked in. We had the food and port wine there which was great. Got tipsy off the wine so it felt even more awesome.

About prices - yes the wine Costs 10 euro bit you can take a glass with you (as a souvenir)
There is a live orchestra inside playing every 15-30 minutes.
The place is so magical or the wine was so good that i felt drank by the happiness after a few sips of wine

We were lucky to have a person playing an organ which made it more interesting. Extremely expensive for what it offers and definitely something for tourists more than anything else. Visit the building because it is worth it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing. I only spent 5 euro on the fish cake and I can enjoy wonderful live music. And the restaurant's design is spectacular for me. Like a massive library, all in red. So wonderful. Definitely worth a visit.
The pics do not give any justice to the real restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped by because of the live organ music we heard on our way back to Porto after a tour of the wine cellars.
The red and gold decor was beautiful and glittering to our port-buzzed eyes and the staff were so welcoming and invited us to check out seating upstairs. The pipe organ sounded lovely, the books lining the walls gave a comfortable and leisurely feeling and the chandelier really drew my attention.
Really beautiful space. They had a selection of wines for those seeking a sit & sip while looking towards Porto experience.
We bought one pastel de bacalhau each, I ate mine hot (got the one with cheese) and thought it was okay, nothing like a croquette, which is what I was expecting. My friend ate hers later, cold and tossed it after one or two bites.
