★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O acesso ao local é complicado com uma caminhada longa e sempre a subir. Encontrar o sitio também é muito complicado pela falta de placas a assinalar o sitio (visto que este está abandonado). Porem quando se chega ao local temos uma incrível visão para todo o alentejo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ruínas bem antigas do que em tempos foi um castelo.
Embora tenha de se estar atento as muralhas estão lá.
Local bonito, mas só consegui visitar à segunda vez pois à primeira estava vedado por haver uma montaria ao javali, o castelo encontra-se no meio de uma herdade.
Para lá chegar é necessário efetuar uma caminhada ou ter um jipe todo o terreno.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ É realmente triste que certas coisas ainda aconteçam no nosso País, é muito fácil andar ás voltas e não conseguir ver nada, foi o que aconteceu . sinalização é quase inexistente, fora a placa na estrada e umas fitas amarradas a umas árvores que alguma alma caridosa se deu ao trabalho de colocar, e que a certa altura desaparece... e é uma pena mas certamente lá voltarei para segunda tentativa.
It is really sad that certain things still happen in our country, it is very easy to walk around and not be able to see anything, that's what happened. signage is almost nonexistent, except for the sign on the road and some ribbons tied to some trees that some charitable soul took the trouble to put, and that at some point disappears ... and it is a pity but I will certainly return there for a second try.

Porém deixaram o mato tomar conta das ruínas, quase nao se vê.
Deve se deixar o carro na aldeia de guadalupe e andar cerca de 1,5km ate o sitio. Poucas sinalizacoes e placas.

Hidden castle and difficult to access. It takes some determination and sure feet to be achieved. Current route on Google maps is not up to date. However, it has a good history and a nice view over the landscape. The Giraldo statue is damaged and deserves restoration.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really liked this place. A statue of Giraldo holding a chopped head welcomes us to the area. The Castle itself is pretty much in ruins but we can still see where the walls were.
The worst part of it is the fact that it is not being maintained at all. The wild bushes have taken over the area making it difficult to move around and even see what left of the Castle.
The path to get there is also not the easiest one. I had to leave the car near the cemetery and walk all the way there because the dirt roads where very bad. With an off-road or a SUV you should probably be able to get closer.
Regardless of that, the place feels magical and the view is beautiful.
