★ ★ ★ ★ ★ High up on the hill the climb is worth it for the views. When I got there the queue was quite long so I used the free Wi-Fi to book my ticket online and arrived very quickly.
There is a lot of walking involved seeing the whole castle. Some steps are fairly high and some walkways are uneven.
The views are fantastic and you can see a fair distance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Steep walk up hill and steps to get here. Reasonable price to get in €10 adult €5 if under 25.
Views over Lisbon superb can see for miles. Nice roof top walk around although wasn't too busy. Peacocks and peahens a plenty around the grounds. If you like history and city views worth a visit. Plus the shop just before the entrance serves cracking portuguese tarts !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The castle itself is not the most impressive, being built in a more practical and not too lucrative older style, the thing that makes this spot worth the visit is the view. For 10 euros (5 for students) you get to experience a breathtaking view of just about the whole city from up above while walking through the ruins of the old castle. But don't take my word for it, just take a look at any of the pictures to get yourself convinced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic views of Lisbon and there's lots to explore within the grounds, including spotting the resident peacocks. It would have been be nice to have more information about particular points of history connected with the buildings that make up the castle as otherwise you are left to explore without much direction. The Moorish settlement was unfortunately closed when we went. It is well worth the trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoyed the visit there. As a person under 25 it wasn't too expensive at 5€ and exploring the castle was definitely interesting. The view over the city is also great from the castle's viewpoint. I'd definitely recommend investing the money and walking around the castle area for a bit.
The stairs are quite exhausting to walk though, as the steps are very narrow and tall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely terrace overlooking the city. There are couple of tables and chairs as you go in on the left hand side where you can get refreshments and a bite to eat.
Lots of steps but all worth it to get the best views over Lisbon. Lots of great photo opportunity.
Lots of peacocks, don't miss out on the albino peacock :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As city castles go this one was pretty good and I've seen a few. Good views out across Lisbon and the river. The castle has been well restored over many years, but not over restored to turn it into something that looks fake. At only 10 euros entry fee it's a bargain and as Lisbon is a bit short on 'big ticket attractions' for tourists this is one definitely worth making time for. Allow a couple of hours for a leisurely stroll around allowing time to sit in one of the many shady spots. Buy tickets online in advance to avoid the queue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely a place to visit. To enjoy every view and corner, I would reserve at least two hours for the place - with nice weather, even more.
Comfortable shoes are a must (goes without saying) and even though there are some bars in the castle (not expensive), I would still bring some snacks with me.
Definitely most panoramic, beautiful views in the area. Some might mind the entry fee but I think it’s worth the money spent.
