Located in the old square of Laranjal. It is located between the Tindade Church and CM Porto. Around it has the typical portuguese sidewalk.
F	Francisco Basto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O Chafariz do Laranjal, no Antigo Largo do Laranjal, atual Largo da Trindade, houve outrora uma fonte rasa, à qual o povo chamava fonte do Olho do Cu. Provavelmente por estar num plano inferior à Rua e se aceder a ela através de umas escadas. Para colher a água as pessoas tinham que se debruçar. Para acabar com este nome tão pouco digno em 1864 a Câmara colocou um novo Chafariz aproveitando material da fonte São Domingos entretanto demolida. Aquando da abertura da Avenida dos Aliados em 1916 a fonte foi retirada e, mais tarde, colocada no jardim do SMAS atual ( Nova Sintra ) até regressar novamente a este Largo. The Laranjal Fountain, in the Old Laranjal Largo, now Trindade Largo, was once a shallow fountain, which the people called the Olho do Cu fountain. Probably because it is on a lower level than the street and is accessed by stairs. To harvest the water, people had to lean over. To end this unworthy name in 1864, the House placed a new Fountain taking advantage of material from the São Domingos fountain that was demolished in the meantime. At the opening of Avenida dos Aliados in 1916 the fountain was removed and later placed in the garden of the current SMAS (Nova Sintra) until returning to this Largo again.
