★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very antipathic and anti-hygienic, the guy that prepares the chicken was sweating all over the food, and the other guy was eating a chicken when we arrived, with his bare hands, and after operated the credit card terminal without washing his hands first, and he had completely black nail rims, yuk! I normally don't give just 1 star but this was just horrendous

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely TERRIBLE. Not even one star. The staff are very rude. I was told to "go away and come back at 1200". I should not have bothered returning. I was greeted with"Its not ready yet. You'll have to wait". Appalling lack of basic politeness and NO service. Can't review the quality of the food since I didn't get any....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cheap, however, apart from being rude, I asked if I could get salad instead of chips and rice, he said no salad. All his dishes come only with chips and rice! Don’t expect great service or many options, pretty much just grilled chicken or pork.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In my view, some of the best chicken piri piri in the region. The sauce is herby and garlicky with the spicy kick that you want. And very cheap! Some people have said the service could be better but I think it’s very honest and authentic - human.
I’ve been coming to the Algarve every summer for five years having eaten chicken piri piri in many places, but visit this place for take-away at least three times during each of our two week stays. Leave your ego at the door and you’ll experience some of the best frango à Guia!
