★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this owner is dishonest as he assumes wrongly that I was not there. However my wife and me were there. Why such dishonesty from the owner. My rating of the restaurant and food is three stars, based on a mixed experience of good location, good car parking, OK service but waiting for more than an hour to get a grilled pregado is tooo much, far too much during low season. We were given the reason that the charcoal grill was too hot. Ohter guests at the terrace were laughing and felt pity for us.
But the behaviour of the owner s worth only one star: zero stars, but that is not possible. He aassumes that we are liars and htat we haven't been there and that I have invented the rating.
SHAME ON YOU !!!!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For me it’s a 3.5 star. The food is good but nothing special. The waiter and waitresses were very kind and helpful. The Algarve cake was fresh and delicious. I do think that the prices are too high for what you get. During the lunch hours it was very quiet and the service was quick.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food and service were nice, but for a relatively isolated place it was excessively expensive. Neither was exceptional, so I can't justify the exceptionally high prices. Still very authentic, traditional food, though. No shade in the car park, so the drive after was very unpleasant. The tables outside were very nice, the seating area has a good shade which makes it a very pleasant experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was our first visit to the Algarve and we had the best dinner experience at Kozinha do Claudio. The staff were incredible friendly and were especially accommodating towards our two boys. We ordered a selection of local seafood dishes (incl. the cataplana) and they were fresh and delicious. Our 6 and 9 year old were less adventurous and had burger and chicken nuggets. The desserts were also great.
We sat by the window which gave an amazing view of the sunset.
We highly recommend Kozinha do Claudio and would definitely return when we next visit the Algarve.
