★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yummy Indian food! Probably the best and most authentic one in Albufeira. It seems to be the busiest one too. The waiters didn’t speak so well English though - there was a lot of miscommunication in regards to food allergens. The ice cream was super delicious! (I deleted my photo evidence by mistake?)

If you're looking for a safe option for a good meal in Albufeira then Clay Oven is a great place.
Not problematic, will have what you want, how you want it. Expensive for portuguese standards. But I consider this a British establishment. Thus you will find the customers to be british also.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the best Indian food I've ever tasted, and definitely in the top 10 of my favourite restaurants. The staff was lovely and the food was delectable. The place was clean and food came very quick. Will most certainly be coming back. Good job!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While the food was good enough the price tag for what you get is definitely not worth it. The dish in the foil tray is a prawn puri which was €8 and had 4 tiny prawns in it. I am surprised that the chef or owner would send something like this out.... look at the picture.
The chicken pakora had 5 tiny pieces which cost €1 per piece. When the delivery driver arrived I assumed some of the order was missing as the bag it was delivered in was tiny. €75 for 2 starters, 3 main courses and 2 nan breads

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Indian food. So fresh and full of flavour. The lamb is some of the best I've ever tasted, so soft and tender. There was a 30 minute wait when we visited. The host took our name and we went to a bar for a drink while we waited. And it was definitely worth the wait!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great indian restaurant. We always go for a curry in countries outside the uk, but they are never quite the same. Clay oven have great food and friendly staff. But be prepared for a wait as it can get really busy. They were not taking phone bookings when we visited, you had to add your booking in person and wait/come back. Very nice decor and the best bit is the kitchen is in the restaurant so you can watch the chefs at work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice Indian In Portugal on the pricey side but it is Fresh and cooked pretty much to perfection so i can't really argue with the prices and how well it was cooked and the freshness of it all. Beats a few of the ones back in the UK. Popadoms and starters were nice. We had chicken Pakora's which were very tasty and steaming hot. Main meal (Chicken Dhansak) was cooked very nice,
Kema rice, very nice with big chunks of meat. only negative ild say, if I can find one, is the Chicken Dhansak needed a bit more flavour, but overall enjoyed it and it did taste good, it wasn't horrible like I say that's just a very small negative.
They were friendly, maybe a bit rushed at times but that's understandable as they were so busy there. It's a nice place to sit in, a big restaurant. You can even see the naans being made.Best to get there just before they open as they get super busy. Decent Indian in Portugal on the strip. I would recommend it. We are regular Indian eaters. I won't say it's the best Indian I've ever had but was a nice one away on holiday which is rare. 4/5
