★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After carefully considering reviews from both Mother India and Clay Oven (which has far more reviews), we decided to go for the more basic venue. The place looked clean, the toilets were in order. The host was friendly and children were accommodated well. Poppadoms were served with the usual condiments, but the onions were mixed with too much chilli powder. As I don't believe that chilli powder is necessary to make things spicy as it overpowers the taste of the food, I was worried that chilli powder would be used in our mains as well, but that was luckily not the case. We ordered Goa Fish Curry and Manchurian Chicken with Pilao rice. Both dishes were very nice and quite spicy (no chilli powder used). The taste was good, but had better elsewhere to be honest. The bill was reasonable and the children got a balloon and candy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice food but needs an upgrade! We were coming here two days ago but were lured away by the classy look of Clay Oven. Their food was nice. The food here was really nice but the looks let it down. Dirty menus! Good customer service as well. Lovely. Almost perfect!
