We have a lifelong love for good food. Many of our trips around the world are to local food markets, where the best day is when we learn a new ingredient or try a dish that is new to us. Formal dining with fancy gastronomy can be exciting to try now and then, but the best food is nourishing as well as rich in sensation. Portugal has a long tradition for great tasting food, but since we also eat with our eyes, the food that we serve also looks delicious.
At Colheita Fresca we give you a chance to enjoy Fresh Ingredients from the Local Market. We go to the market early in the morning and serve you a casual delightful breakfast and lunch (we're open until late). We try to make it quick and easy. Whether you have 15 minutes or 45 minutes for your meal, we're ready to serve you.
The menu is based on the Great Portuguese Kitchen with an added International Flair.
We soon hope to offer Overnight delivery to Europe fresh from the Market. In many of the places we have lived you just cannot get the same quality. The owners were super lovely.
Food was maded with love and passion.
Was accurate and original.
When this 2 combinations works well, nothing bad can happen.
If you drive or walk close to this small town, is mandatory stop in this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly owner with well presented generous tapas (we took the cold meats we couldn’t eat home) cooked to order and reasonably priced. We ate here a second time and we’re very disappointed, no octopus (even though the market next door had loads for sale) and the seafood curry was very poor. He also forgot our olives.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute little place with delicious food! The pork ribs I had were amazing and so were the vegetables and potatoes on the side. Wish I had the chance to go again. Owner is super friendly, and this is a nice place to just sit down and grab a little food or a drink. The portion size is actually perfect for one person, unlike most Portuguese restaurants where you end up ridiculously stuffed. I went around 7pm and the place was empty but don't be put off by that, the food is great!!

On the edge of Loule market superb for lunch or evening meal.

We had octopus, pork ribs and beef and they were all tasty and filling.
Lovely music playing in the background, and street seating offering a great view on the old paved streets. Everyone very friendly and welcoming.
Loved the place, food and people.
