Staff was helpful and nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped there for lunch after taking a stroll in the covered market. We were almost too late for lunch and we took a chance!
The waiter was friendly and the menu was in both Portuguese and English which was helpful. We ordered a few mains that we shared tapas style.
All food were delicious but the best was for sure the cuttlefish stew. The beefsteak was also yummy and the bill wall amazing value for money considering we had some "vinho verde" (green wine) and more.
I would visit again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The dourada (golden fish) we had was super fresh, very succulent and delicious. The servers were nice, they even snuck us some roasted chestnuts they were roasting for a group of employees and friends, at no charge.
Not many fish options, but am curious as to their other dishes, which seem quite basic on the menu but doesn't mean they are nothing special.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A typical Portuguese restaurant serving great food at very reasonable prices. The golden bream was enormous and grilled to perfection. Don’t shy away from the house wine at 2.5€ per 1/2 L, it is very respectable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoyed lunch on a very busy Saturday and despite the crowd, service was good and with a smile! Food is typical Portuguese and good value for money and the restaurant is situated on a nice location next to the market halls. Expect honest, traditional dishes served with a smile….
