UPDATED Sept 30: After emailing the customer support email well over a month ago, we still haven't received a single reply. Cannot believe how terrible the customer service of this company is. (Reservation number was DC-2270044 under my girlfriend Chloe Racette) Extremely disappointed with the service of the Lisbon airport location. We were served by the locations manager when we returned our car. He spent quite a while looking for damage to the car. He managed to notice that the right side mirror plastic cover was popped over the securing clips. It was obvious that someone had installed it incorrectly, there was no damage at all suggesting it had been hit and popped over the clips like he was insisting. He wouldn’t listen to common sense on this one and became extremely agitated and aggressive towards myself and my girlfriend. Realizing we wouldn’t get anywhere with him we just paid and filed a complaint which we haven’t heard back on. We’ve never experienced such terrible customer service before. This will be the one and only time we’ll use this horrible company.

Quick, easy and super price competitive. Friendly staff and frequent shuttle to and from airport. Don’t understand the low ratings - would recommend company. Would recommend paying the few euros extra for the electronic toll function. Saved a lot of time and hassle as toll stops are frequent but you can sail straight through.

Perfect service from the start to the end of the rental period! 1. Pick up from Lisbon airport = perfect and on time. 10 Minutes drive. 2. Check in = modern and spotless clean reception area. Very efficient and friendly check in, approx 20-25 minutes. 3. Car: exactly as booked, brandnew Renault Captur, 15.000 km, incl. GPS navigation (not even booked but received, for free!). Car perfectly clean 4. Car return: no problems, 15 minutes procedure 5. back to airport by shuttle bus: perfect service again. Best car rental service I ever received! Thank you CRC Lisbon and see you next time!

Ok experience but would probably not use them again if there is a choice. Gave us smaller car than booked and had no alternative to give. Couple of tips for renters: Show up early to pick up your car as it can take an hour or more before you are being served at busy times and they do not edit the rental start time. Staff are friendly but there are not enough of them for the demand. Also take pictures and video of the car before leaving the office - and review any damages against the feedback form as they will carefully check the car inch by inch when you return it!

Careful the company only takes credit card payments for the deposit and doesn’t accept American Express or cash so we had to pay a non-refundable deposit of 180euros instead of refundable deposit of 1000euros. We were kindly upgraded to a convertible Mini Cooper and the car return process was very smooth. It wasn’t very clear there was a meeting point in the airport for a shuttle bus. Anna was nice and helpful.

COMPANY TO AVOID !!! On the rental car website, they advertise that their company is in Lisbon Airport. However, it is not accurate. I had to take a 10 minutes shuttle to pick up our car. Then, when I arrived at the place, I had to wait in a 40 minutes line to get to the desk. When I arrived at the desk, the employee asked me to deposit 1600 euros with a credit card with the person's name taking responsibility for the car. Since I had one of my family members' credit cards, I couldn't make the deposit. The employee said it was a common procedure to make such a request. However, he did not propose other alternatives. After waiting 3 hours to find a solution by extending my credit amount on my credit card, I went to the desk, hoping the company would accept my credit card. However, not only did the company not accept the card, but it also gave my car to another customer, telling me they had no other similar car available. After polity telling the employee I was unhappy with the service they provided, he finally proposed another rental car with the possibility to pay an insurance of 135 euros covering the deposit. The employee should have suggested this alternative 3 hours earlier. Besides this incident, the employees were unpleasant and did not serve the clients in their best capacities. After spending such a time waiting in the lines and at the desk I could watch other customers being very disappointed with the service and others also had to wait a couple of hours to get a car. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY !!!

Its a real shame you can't give this company zero stars. Terrible experience. Firstly I booked to collect the car at their downtown office, but had to go the airport to collect the car as their downtown office didn't exist anymore. If I had known that I would not have booked it with this company. Then on check I had to wait an hour, after which it started to go downhill more. I had a valid credit card however this expired just before the end of the trip. They didn't accept the card, instead I had to use a debit card at which point I had to take out an extra 300 Euros to purchase their full cover, even though I had full cover with Discovery Cars which only cost me 89 pounds. The original cost of my rental was about 400 pounds and the final cost was almost double that. On returning the vehicle, I questioned also the deposit that was taken, and the representative (Rafael) was incredibly unhelpful and it just made the whole experience a nightmare. This rental car company should be avoided at all costs. If you come to Lisbon, use another car rental service, you'll avoid a lot of aggro

Be careful of hidden payments and low-quality service for 1000 EUR/week!!! We’ve rented a car at CRC for the New Year holidays. When renting a car it was displayed at the website that no deposit is required and full coverage insurance is recommended. We’ve bought a full coverage insurance and the payment for rental was debited immediately. Being sure that we’ve made all the payments, we came to pick up the car at Lisbon. However, at the pick up we were told that the insurance we’ve bought is not enough and we should either pay a 2000 EUR deposit or buy additional insurance to lower the deposit amount, which should have been reflected in our booking confirmation. The trick is that you don’t get a booking confirmation until you make a 100% payment and at the point of payment you see extremely different terms than in the confirmation afterwards. The car was pretty new (Fiat 500), but the next day it started to get error messages on the check screenboard. Turned out, that there was no engine oil left. We’ve tried calling CRC (no answer), found their number is whatsup and sent a message. At first we’ve got a response that we should take the car to a service and then they simply stopped answering. We had to figure out the problem on our own. In general looks like CRC doesn’t check the cars before pick-up, they have a bunch of hidden payments and this all looks like a fraudlent marketing to make money out of nothing. We would never recommend CRC.
