★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed one night in this hotel which has been run by 3 generations of the same family. Great antiques decorate the public rooms and the room we stayed in had a balcony. We asked about nearby restautants and had a great seafood meal just down the road. The next morning we had a great breakfast before continuing our holiday. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The house, staff and location get a big five stars! We loved the place. If I were going to give low stars it would be because there is no parking there. We paid €33 to park for one night stay!!! Less than 24 hours. But the place is absolutely wonderful!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently reopened after renovation Pergola Boutique Hotel is an oasis in the centre of Cascais. Under the careful tutelage of Mariana the hotel is fast developing a reputation for high quality, attentive and discrete service for discerning clients looking for something extra.
The breakfast menu reflects this: healthy, tasty and visually appealing.
Nothing is too much trouble. I was entertaining a friend to lunch and, as the hotel is at present only B&B, Mariana and Goncalo arranged for a local restaurant to deliver petiscos which we thoroughly enjoyed on the terrace.
The hotel has retained its natural charm and original features don't expect luxurious rooms with deep carpets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed in The Pergola for two weeks - it is simply an exceptional hotel and I could not recommend it more highly. The staff would not be more helpful with recommendations for restaurants and trips to make. The breakfast is the best with fresh fruit juices, granola and yogurt with more fruits, followed by a selection of eggs etc. The gardens are a delight on a hot day to relax and read or to enjoy an aperitif later in the day. It was a memorable stay and I could not recommend it more highly to anyone seeking a quality stay.
