★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting little cafe in a backstreet selling sweet Portuguese cakes. I get they are meant to be sweet but they can be a shock to the system when you get the sugar rush. Lady owner was very helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy interior, friendly lady owner but to be delighted with those cookies you need to love sugar. Those sweets are SWEET and I mean really really sweet. Quite heavy as well but it all comes to your personal taste so I recomend the place anyway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ People complaining of how sweet these sweets are just shows how ignorant they are of Portuguese traditional Monastery sweets. They are meant to be extra sweet, so if you don't like sugar stay clear. However they are delicious and a must if you want to try something traditional. Ideally choose a few and share (if in a group of people). The café itself is cozy and the owner was super welcoming.
