Loved this place had a tart that was star shaped tart that was lightly carmalizeded on top but fluffy inside and slightly chewy I don't know the name...addicted to it WHAT WAS IT CALLED?

Good looking pastries served to mainly locals in a busy part of Estrella. So many of these cafes to choose from; almost never go wrong.

Great little spot for coffee, sweets, and a tasty lunch.

No idea how anyone could possibly assign less than 5-stars to this. Absolutely impeccable pastries and atmosphere.

I was on the way to try another cafe that was a little out of the way. I stepped out my accommodation to see this cafe and quickly saw how highly it was rated so decided to give them a go. It's located along the tram line so it has great accessibility and a stop close to the entrance. The first thing that attracts your attention is the quaintness of the style from the outside. You then notice the wide range of pastries on display when you enter. Of course you immediately have to try the Pastel di Nate just because! The pastry was ok itself, nothing to rave about other than it's very low price of €1 which is significantly cheaper than any other place. They would be much nicer if it was heated up more. Maybe it's cause I'm used eating egg tarts this way because the server gave me a strange look. I also got a coffee here. The cafe is just the standard Italian styled one you expect from such a cafe. Whilst it sufficient cured me of my caffeine needs, it did not quench my taste needs as was not particularly smooth or to the quality of the ones you get in Australia. It was still better than some of the more traditional style that still exist in Lisbon. I completed a detailed search of the cafe which does not appear to have any wifi or power points. Thankfully I did not need either and there is enough signals to get internet on your phone which was a relieve, even from the back of the cafe. Overall, it's still worth a visit because of how cheap it is to eat here, but don't expect amazing food like what much of the reviewers said, as you'll be disappointed like I was!
