★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I was a kid Doce Mar use to have the best croissants in the world (the way I saw it at least), now they are not that great, but still better than most and definitely worth trying. Just to clarify we are talking about the Portuguese type of croissant, not the French one, the dough is very different but the shape is similar.
