★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is truly a gem! I was pleasantly surprised by the one of a kind flavors and dishes of unique combinations of plant-based food. The staff is warm and kind, even the chef came to say hi and ask how the food was. The decor is unique and charming. Will definitely return here soon. The gnocchi made of banana with vegan meat is to die for. If you’re vegan, and looking for deliciously unique flavors, this is the place to be in Cascais!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the heart of Cascais, it is a very cozy and we'll decorated vegan restaurant. The service is kind and quick. Their dishes are well prepared, with a nice presentation, tasteful and really fresh. The menu is small, but every dish is not something you prepare easily at home, which makes it worth going. It is a bit over the local restaurant average price-wise, but all considered is well worth.
They also provide the take away option, which makes it available in any lockdown condition.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boyfriend and I were overwhelmed by the variety and creativity of the menu! Often being offered one or two vegan dishes in regular restaurants, we had a hard time choosing. At Dona Flor we not only got a vegan meal, but also healthy, wholesome, down to Earth and elaborated dishes for great value for money. The Brazilian chef attended us personally and it was kind and attentive. We loved our experience and are definitely coming back in the future!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a lovely lunch here. Please note we are not vegans but we enjoyed some great dishes here. My boyfriend who never goes to a vegan restaurant thoroughly enjoyed his lasagne! I ate a vegan version of the Brazilian dish Escondidinho and while I’ve not had the original, I loved this one and would highly recommend it. Overall, great experience. Try it out if you’re in Cascais.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was very creative and very delicious. I ordered a dish which was a bit like moussaka with cassava and banana peel (I dont remember this new menu not on the list). It is my first time to eat banana peel. I had never thought that we could eat banana peel. We were impressed that it was used as veggie meat. We try to make vegan dish ourselves sometimes but we have no idea how the chef cooks delicious and creative meals like this!! We did not feel all were vegetable-based. Incredible. Even if you are not vegetarian (we are not), you will like it. We will definitely come back.
