One thing...the waiter offered us to have a special drink in the end after we asked for the check, we thought he was kind (a to get a good tip) Surprisingly , the drinks appeared in our bill...we didn't want to argue..not point, but it left a little bit of bad taste..

M	Mark Shapiro on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lunch was rack of lamb potato and hearts of palm and salad. Good bottle of Malbec. Also delicious desert. Very well prepared good quality ingredients. Nice staff. Food was plentiful enough that we could split all of the dishes. It is not cheap but worth every cent. Outdoor seating has a limited number of tables, so book if you want to eat outside.

Plus the food was delivered quickly and I was surprised how quickly it arrived and while I a was waiting the short time the snacks kept me ready for the main course. But that wasn't the best part, the customer service was actually amazing. We got warm welcomes from the staff and the waiter chatted with us which showed us that the staff there care about who they serve.
T	Ted Wolfe on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When a local tells you it’s really good… Am staying in an AirBB condo near El caminto. The condo has 24 hour guards that I’ve gotten to know. Was talking to a guard about the back street that I use to get from Cascais’s main square to my condo up by the fortress. I was asking about restaurants on that street and he strongly recommended el caminito for steaks. So, I decided to give it a try. Being from the USA, I’ve learned, in Portugal, that you’re wise to not ‘judge a book by it’s cover’. The outsides of Portuguese restaurants may be plain but there can be hidden treasures inside. Very true with el caminito. Once you go up the steps leading to the entrance, there’s a sweet terrace with tables outside. Usually, I’d go for that but it is March and 9:30 with a chill in the air. There are tables on the main floor but i saw windows with tables on the second floor. I asked and was seated at a table upstairs with a view of the harbor. So much for the place. You also come for the food. The servers a super friendly and speak english well. I was alone so the server recommended this half bottle of red in the picture. Great wine. Has the mixed salad with greens, tomato, slivered carrots etc. it’s huge and delicious. Took half home as take away. The place is known for it’s beef so had medium sized sirloin and roasted vegetable side. Again huge. Steak was tender and sauces complimented the beef. Took veggies home too. Had nice conversation with the server about the meal, Portugal, Coimbra, and jazz in Lisbon. A relaxing and satisfying night. If you’re in Cascais, you should try it. Don’t think you’ll regret it.
