★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's only a very short ride, but hey, it's part of the charm of Lisboa, so you line up for a funicular :)
You do have the choice between the Gloria funicular, the Bica funicular and the Lavra funicular.
If you find taking a nice picture from inside the funicular important, just let the people before you depart, you'll be first in line in a few minutes... :)

The place where you end up its not more remarkable than any of the viewpoints in any of the other seven hills that suround Lisbon

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rode this up to check out the incline railway(part of the yellow bus package) --many areas are being renovated. Was packed full and up on top the garden was bare . great views of the city but less impressive than from the top of the castle.
