Aunque funcione (que no lo sé) alcanza muy poca altura y no da para ver las vistas decentemente. Vale mucho más la pena pegarse la pateada hasta arriba del todo dónde está la Universidad, donde las vistas de Coimbra sí son preciosas. El elevador no vale para nada. It took us an egg to climb the hill for nothing. In fact we no longer approached because it seemed abandoned. Although it works (which I do not know) it reaches very low height and does not give to see the views decently. It is much more worth hitting the kick up to the top where the University is, where the views of Coimbra are beautiful. The elevator is worthless.

A vista é tão ampla quanto a que se tem do Pátio da Universidade Good option for those who want to reduce the walking time between Coimbra's high and low. I recommend a stop at the viewpoint. The view is as wide as that of the University Courtyard

D	David Martin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great way to get from the market up the hill, or just simply take a ride. It cost us 1.6 Euro each for the trip up. Took a while to call the lift back down. You can buy a ticket in the small office just by the entrance. Great views of the city, with the Terraco de Alto bar at the top.
