★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible station. Non of the small screens work. You have no idea which platform you suppose to go. The only way to find out is to ask the ticket office. Our train was late. There was no sign for that. You just have to wait and wait and wait. Please don't book your trip from this station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dirty, very badly signposted, no information counter of the railway company, just the city public transportation company. There is a huge middle level below all platforms with dozens of escalators to the platforms and one coffee booth. No nice place to sit or spend your time, no proper maps.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ TERRIBLE experience at this station. They only have 1 office to buy tickets, with only 2 people that were selling them. Only 1 ticket machine for people who already have a Lisbon transit card. We arrived 30 minutes before our train and we lost it because the line to the ticket office was too long, also we could get the ticket online because there is no option for age discount online. Make sure you arrive 1 hour before your train and expect it to be sold out

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can understand all the negative reviews on here:-
Terrible Station;
Terrible customer service;
Lack of information, etc...
If you have never been to this station before and haven't got a ticket get here a good hour before the train you expert to catch leaves.
We got here 3 hours early - we already book our tickets weeks in advanced - and we still experienced most of the negative reviews.
If it wasn't for the train lines going into the building I would of mistaken it for a MULTISTOREY CAR PARK with a Lidl's attached to it.
Once inside I only saw one screen with a list of trains , times, destination, and platform or line. This was the only screen I saw on all 3 floors. THIS WAS ON THE GROUND FLOOR NEXT TO THE BOOKING OFFICE. Plenty of screens for the next train thou.
I WAITED AN HOUR AT THE BOOKING OFFICE, even thou we booked and printed off our tickets in advance I wasn't sure how it worked as all the stations we used in Lisbon had a card swipe system - we had a piece of paper.
So I asked a member of staff who said they never seen this type of ticket before, so I had to ask the booking office who confirmed it was valid.
The best help got was from an old beggar - who approached me as I looked confused - pointed me to the right platform number, what train to catch, what carriage number to get on, where the seats where on the carriage, but also where to stand on the platform as he knew where the carriage stopped. So I gave him a couple of euro's - rather give him a couple of euro's than being pickpocketed.
One we got that out of the way, we had a couple of beers at the coffee shop on the middle floor and the wife went to Lidl's for some snacks.
Once on the train, it was enjoyable journey even thou the train was packed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor station information but you can ask at the ticket office. There are no screens except on the platforms /lines just before the next train. There are elevators and moving stairs though. Cafe has a few tables to sit at, there are vending machines and a Lidl downstairs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is no information about the trains and platforms on any of the station floors (it seems like a general problem in Portugal). I finally found a small old monitor next to a café on the ground floor - it only showed next 5 trains or so, because it was so small.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ? ? ? ? ?
Train ? station right ✅ by the side of Campo pequeno Square, very convenient and lots of trains going across the river ? and multiple locations around the country. The metro is also right below.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No info, no staff, nothing. Expected from a developing country but i guess in portugal its the norm. Unbelievable. They should be paying you to take their trains. Train is late more than 30 min and no info. Ahah.
