Please do yourself a favor and don't go to this place during the day. Be one of the first or one of the last people to get on the tram since the queue will be so long, that you will probably have to wait for more than 30 minutes or 3 to 4 cars to get a ride. The ride itself is worth every penny though.

Loved the tram, can be very busy. If you get a transit day pass for around 6 Euro you can get on and off as you like. Otherwise each time you get on is 2.80 Euro.

Long waiting time. We walked up to St. Jorge. From there we took Tram 12. It is surely not the same but riding the Tram in Lisbon is an experience no matter which line you take. You can pay the riding fee in the tram itself. We had the Lisbon Card which allowed us to travel "for free". 3/5 because this maybe the best tram line but surely not the only one. And i am not waiting to ride with one particular tram.

Perfect way to explore the city. Stood in line for two hours, but it was worth the wait. The tuktuk drivers were annoying, not all of them, but they try to convince you to get out of line and book a tuktuk tour. If you go early, you can avoid the waiting line. Or just stand in line and enjoy the sun and a snack along the wait.

The tram was an interesting ride to see lots of Lisbon! It's crazy how small the streets are and how tightly the tram fits throughout the streets. The only downside was the long wait for the tram, almost an hour, and the tram drivers were not overly friendly. I think there are much better ways to see Lisbon such as Ubers, bikes, walking, bus tours, Segways, boats, golf carts, etc.

Expect a long queue. This is kind of a tourist attraction. Had to wait 3 trams before getting on one because they're not very big and not a lot of seating per tram. But you do get to see a lot of Lisbon on the route though.

We were lucky. When we went there were barely people, so we could enjoy the historical trip comfortably. I imagine that when it's packed that the experience might not be that delightful (how can it be?). But if it's not too full it is a recommendable, wonderful route through winding steep and narrow cobblestone streets, and really really worth it.

The tram 28 is probably one of the nicest Tram lines in the capital. It passes all the famous parts and is basically seen as a tourist Tram, eventhough it provides a regular service. I love those old tram trains, as they make you feel like you are back in the 1920s. The ride is rough but it is fun, especially for those who are interested in different trains and public transport in general. However, the reason why I only gave this Tram stop 3 stars is, that it is so popular, that it took us about 3 hours to get on the tram. The cues are massive at any time during the day. It is still a must see in my opinion, but it will eat up all your time just waiting for it.
