★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Estalagem da Liberdade foi um super agradável surpresa. Só queríamos um local para dormir uma noite e seguir viagem mas logo quando chegamos percebemos que era um local para ficar um pouco mais e relaxar. O quarto era excelente, melhor que alguns hotéis de 4 estrelas. Tudo renovado, banheira com hidromassagem (embora nós não tenhamos usado), cofre, frigorífico, cafeteira electrica e máquina de café com chávenas, chás e cafés à disposição. Varanda com vista para o Parque central. Ar condicionado e TV LCD. Tanto o quarto como a casa de banho bem limpo e a decoração com muito bom gosto. Toalhas, robe turco, e a bandeja de produtos de higiene oferecidos bastante completa, e ainda secador de cabelo.
O colchão e os lençóis super confortáveis finalizaram uma experiência de estadia 5 estrelas. A Estalagem tem piscina, onde ainda chegámos a dar uns mergulhos. Tem mesa de bilhar e um pequeno ginásio. O pequeno almoço é continental mas bastante completo.
Os donos da Estalagem são um casal atencioso, sociável e muito disponível.
E ainda a presença imponente de 3 cães absolutamente lindos pelos quais nos apaixonados, especialmente pelo o Blue.
No final dou 5 estrelas porque não me é permitido dar mais. Mas este local merecia 20.

The Estalagem da Liberdade was a super pleasant surprise. We just wanted a place to sleep one night and continue our journey but when we arrived we realized it was a place to stay a little longer and relax. The room was excellent, better than some 4 star hotels. Everything renovated, bathtub with hydromassage (although we didn't use it), safe, fridge, coffee maker and coffee maker with cups, teas and coffees available. Balcony overlooking the central park. Air conditioning and LCD TV. Both the bedroom and the bathroom are very clean and the decoration is very tasteful. Towels, terrycloth robe, and a very complete tray of toiletries provided, as well as a hairdryer.
The super comfortable mattress and sheets complete a 5-star experience. The Inn has a swimming pool, where we even went for a dip. It has a pool table and a small gym. Breakfast is continental but very complete.
The owners of the Inn are an attentive, sociable and very available couple.
And yet the imposing presence of 3 absolutely beautiful dogs that we love, especially Blue.
In the end I give 5 stars because I am not allowed to give more. But this place deserved 20.
We will come back! Thanks!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uma estrela apenas por ter um quarto e uma casa de banho com boas dimensões e limpeza. Tudo o resto com exceção da decoração antiga com alguma piada, foi péssimo. Não existe elevador, escadas e edifício com manutenção deficientes, mini espaços da piscina, sala de convívio e ginasio completamente ao abandono. Pequeno almoço muito fraco e limpeza muito deficiente ( pés da mesa e cadeira com pêlos, teias de aranha e pó ). Regras de Covid inexistentes. Não mereçe o preço.
E o pior de tudo foi o isolamento do ruído que não existe e não permite descansar no quarto.
A star just for having a room and a bathroom with good dimensions and cleanliness. Everything else, except for the old-fashioned decor with some joke, was awful. There is no elevator, stairs and poorly maintained building, mini pool spaces, social lounge and gym completely abandoned. Very poor breakfast and very poor cleaning (table and chair legs with hair, cobwebs and dust). Non-existent Covid rules. It doesn't deserve the price.
And worst of all was the noise isolation that does not exist and does not allow you to rest in the room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ik was moe van de reis anders was ik gelijk weer vertrokken! Bij binnenkomst stinkt het volledig naar honden. Er lopen 3 grote honden rond. Het is overvol ingericht met oude prullaria. De grote houten trap kraakt enorm bij elke trede. De slaapkamer is schoon en netjes. Koffieapparaat werkte niet het water liep er weer onderuit. Uitzicht op een binnenplaats met een zwembad dat groener van de alg is dan mijn gazon. De volgende ochtend wilde ik om half 8 ontbijten. Toen ik de deur open deed sloeg de stank op mijn keel en ik besloot direct te vertrekken. De hele nacht geluidoverlast van de trap, ruziënde mensen en rond 01.00 werd er nog glas in de glasbak gestort. Bij vertrek ben ik niemand tegen gekomen en heb de sleutel op het kastje in de hal achter gelaten. Eenmaal buiten nog wat foto's gemaakt van de rommel en viezigheid die ik bij daglicht zag. De 2 sterren moeten volgens mij direct weggenomen worden. Voor mij ongeloof dat deze accommodatie 2 sterren heeft. Nooit meer!
I was tired from the trip otherwise I would have left right away! Upon entering it completely stinks of dogs. There are 3 large dogs running around. It is overcrowded with old knick knacks. The large wooden staircase creaks with every step. The bedroom is clean and tidy. Coffee machine did not work, the water ran under it again. View of a courtyard with a pool that is greener with algae than my lawn. The next morning I wanted to have breakfast at half past seven. When I opened the door the stench hit my throat and I decided to leave immediately. Noise from the stairs, people arguing all night and around 01.00 glass was still poured into the glass container. When I left I did not meet anyone and I left the key on the cupboard in the hall. Once outside I took some pictures of the mess and filth I saw in daylight. I think the 2 stars should be removed immediately. Disbelief to me that this property has 2 stars. Never again!
