★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was charged by Europcar some 150 EUR months after renting a car, no explanation, no information just charge on my credit card. This happened to many people - just do a quick Google search. Avoid!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took a Peugeot 3008. Service was fast. Car was clean. Bruno was very curtious and efficient. Process to return the car took 5 minutes.
Couldn't have asked for more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The car they gave me was broken, I drove it for 5 mins before pulling over and calling them. After waiting on the call for 45 mins they told me to hang up and call roadside assistance. Another 30 mins of that call and I arranged for the car to be picked up in the evening because this had already ruined our day trip. Europcar eventually contacted me to say there was nothing wrong with the car and they weren't going to refund me, even though I reported it broken literally 10 mins after I took it. Disgraceful company.

Coffee is 50 cents from a machine that did not have sugar available. Pick up your car and go.
It’s as pleasant as a trip to the dentist. Depending on your dentist.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was a bit afraid to rent a car from Europcar after reading most of the comments here... I took the premium insurance package so there are no issues/scams with returning the car... In the end, everything was fine. I can recommend it. It's a bit expensive but.... What's not expensive in Lisboa? ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible experience. They didn’t even try to help with the issue we had with our booking. Instead they offered me the option to remake a booking with them which was 10 times more than the original price. After I declined their proposition, Miss Manuela Branco then offered me to step outside the agency while she attended to other clients… there were no other clients waiting… I suggest you avoid this agency. We went 600mts away to the other Europcar office and they were super lovely helping us with our booking issue and the experience was completely different!
