★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very Portuguese atmosphere, but used to, and friendly towards, tourists. If you want barbecued meat or fish, it's very well known.
Part of the fun used to be the scarily blunt boss, but over the twenty years I've been eating here at least once a month she's mellowed. Also the small children milling around are now the adult staff (I think we call that "family run").
No dogs on patio, probably my fault for bringing too many psycho rescue dogs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best local restaurant! The owner Therese is very friendly, welcoming and knows best what you would like to have. We always order the Camarão, ameijoas and frango piri piri. After our second visit she already knows what we would like to order. That is what hospitality stands for!
